Incredible hotel set in a former abbey with views over the Loire. The architecture and furnishings immerse you in the history of this magnificent Loire Valley. A real moment of pleasure between welcoming, attentive staff, the tasting of an excellent white wine on one of the terraces or in one of the lounges, and breakfast in the conservatory — a breakfast offering a varied buffet with high-quality products (special mention for the cheese platter which delighted my taste buds).
Very, very disappointed. It all started with a booking and a rather unpleasant lady who even asked for the crypto details of my bank card, which is completely forbidden... I refused and was told that I could not book!!! It begins like that. I took the room supposedly on the 2nd floor, but given the stairs you can easily count four storeys... arriving in the room, horrible, dirty and the TV as small as a tablet at bed level!!! I took a shower with 3 cm of water to mop up, a real struggle; in the morning I couldn't shower because the towels had been used to mop up, unfortunately... the friendly lady had also failed to tell me that the breakfast at €18.90 without omelette was available from 7:30, so if you work it's absolutely not compatible. I do not recommend it and I will even call the town hall to see what they think — apparently they are the owners... Not professional; fortunately a helpful Tahitian gentleman was rather nice and raised the standard. I will change my card since she took my crypto details; I am even considering filing a police report
Magnificent hotel! Dining room right opposite the bridge over the Loire, stunning view! Sale of all kinds of local produce! Not to be missed if you need accommodation in the area!
A unique and magical stay; the room I tried had a view of the Loire with very comfortable bedding and a very pretty bathroom. Lovely sitting rooms for reading or relaxing in peace, a bar in the abbey (not tried), a restaurant and a shop selling the monks' products. Very good welcome throughout our stay (1 night + breakfast), and absolutely include the breakfast with the room, otherwise you may regret it — the breakfast buffet offered very good products (pastries, various cheeses, assorted breads, apple tart, brioche, freshly squeezed orange juice, verbena jelly, etc. etc. it was a delight). The only drawback for this lovely place is the proximity of the busy road and the Beaugency bridge, which prevents fully peaceful enjoyment of the terrace, but the indoor rooms being very pleasant this minor issue isn't really one, and there is a small area in the garden to relax on sunloungers and a hammock further from the road so more pleasant!
We will never forget our night here; it was an unforgettable experience. The place is absolutely beautiful. The service is warm and attentive. The evening meals and the breakfast in the restaurant were exceptional. It was our first night in France and it was truly enchanting.

Unusual hotel in an excellent location, with views over the Loire and the Beaugency bridge. The rooms are comfortable, all set in a historic setting. Staff very courteous and pleasant. The quality/price ratio is very good, especially for a weekend...! I recommend it.
