Charming hotel, beautifully located. Don’t miss the breakfast: delicious and very varied.
Beautiful ancient abbey on the banks of the Loire, with direct pedestrian access to the old town. The bedroom and bathroom were superb; no air conditioning, but it wasn't an issue thanks to the large windows and the fan. Dinner was prepared before our eyes on a wood fire, with views of the millennia-old bridge. The car is safely parked in the courtyard. We will return without hesitation.
What a little gem! A charming place. Restored with love. How lucky! We were there on roast night. I felt like a Northern barbarian invading the civilised South. Needless to say I was exhausted and slept like a monk.
A true ship to travel to the heart of French history, we were so pleasantly welcomed there by Mikaeli and the rest of the team who remembered our last visit a few months ago that we feel at home there, like family. Highly recommended!!!
Incredible hotel set in a former abbey with views over the Loire. The architecture and furnishings immerse you in the history of this magnificent Loire Valley. A real moment of pleasure between welcoming, attentive staff, the tasting of an excellent white wine on one of the terraces or in one of the lounges, and breakfast in the conservatory — a breakfast offering a varied buffet with high-quality products (special mention for the cheese platter which delighted my taste buds).
Very, very disappointed. It all started with a booking and a rather unpleasant lady who even asked for the crypto details of my bank card, which is completely forbidden... I refused and was told that I could not book!!! It begins like that. I took the room supposedly on the 2nd floor, but given the stairs you can easily count four storeys... arriving in the room, horrible, dirty and the TV as small as a tablet at bed level!!! I took a shower with 3 cm of water to mop up, a real struggle; in the morning I couldn't shower because the towels had been used to mop up, unfortunately... the friendly lady had also failed to tell me that the breakfast at €18.90 without omelette was available from 7:30, so if you work it's absolutely not compatible. I do not recommend it and I will even call the town hall to see what they think — apparently they are the owners... Not professional; fortunately a helpful Tahitian gentleman was rather nice and raised the standard. I will change my card since she took my crypto details; I am even considering filing a police report
