Just the restaurant: La Rotisserie. Disappointed. Not much choice for starters, wine by the glass and dessert. Lovely view from the "veranda'.

A charming historic hotel, ideal for staying in Beaugency; this former abbey is at the heart of the town's history. A very friendly and attentive team. Very good breakfast.
We were very warmly welcomed by the receptionist. She kindly rang us to invite us to dine with her: chicken, salmon or something similar, roasted in the old fireplace of the monastery. It was delicious. We had a very pleasant stay for four in the room intended for four. Spotlessly clean and peaceful. The breakfast is fantastic, with delicious bread and flavoursome products from French monasteries. Highly recommended!
We particularly appreciated the grand setting of these places which give you the feeling of stepping into "History", while retaining an impression of intimacy, with total admiration for the magnificent staircase. It is a destination we highly recommend.
