Unatypical boutique hotel, beautifully furnished. The entire staff were very welcoming and smiling. Excellent meal at the rotisserie. Great breakfast with frequent replenishments. Highly recommended. The only small drawback is the two flights of stairs to access some rooms, but it’s quickly forgotten.
A beautiful building rich in detail. However, it was uncomfortable to stay there in very hot weather. It was essential to leave the window open at night, but a noisy bar is located right next to the hotel entrance. The bicycle storage was disappointing: an unlocked outbuilding, difficult to access because of various items and hotel linens stored there. The breakfast was excellent.
Arriving somewhat by chance to spend an evening and a night, we discovered a place out of time, steeped in history and presence, a place to rest and stop. Thanks to all the staff who were very attentive. The room was very good, with comfortable bedding. Unfortunately we could not stay longer but we will return. As for the meal and breakfast, nothing to complain about. We appreciated the local products and monastic crafts. A place worth making known, don't hesitate to go!
A place steeped in history, period decor, charming staff, everything is fantastic
A large part of the building is a little old-fashioned, but the atmosphere and ambience of this centuries-old monastery more than make up for it. The breakfast and the dinner are both sublime!
